No, the customer didn't perform those command prior to rebooting. And seems like it was the first rebooting since the switch was installed on the site.
I just found an article showing that the current configuration can be saved to NVRAM in the switch by performing commands;
- # configuration write
- # write memory
as you advised , and the saved configuration is loaded on the RAM from the NVRAM within, whenever the system boots up. We will inform the customer of that.
But it's a bit curious for me. Do all of users who use MLNX-OS have to perform the command(s) to maintain uninterrupted system operations?
